Gelpro have teamed up with Chef Pete Evans to come up with the best of both proteins, Hemp and Collagen and it tastes fantastic. It's as simple as half organic hemp and half collagen however as per the Gelpro standard, we obviously select the absolute best ingredients we can get our hands on.
The Organic Hemp - Sourced from a farm just below inner Mongolia that has been growing hemp for thousands of years and has now obtained organic certification which is audited to every measure. Not all hemp is created equal and we tested over 20 different hemp proteins to find one that had the best flavour and importantly solubility.
Why hemp protein? It is a whole food source and contains dietary fibre and good fats.
The Collagen - collagen is present in skin, joints, bones, muscle and connective tissue. We place considerable strain on our joints and bones through numerous sporting activities such as running, cycling, crossfit, weight lifting etc and need to ensure that we have a balanced diet to rebuild all the tissues and repair muscles from training.
GelPro have selected a bovine collagen, sourced from Uruguay, Paraguay and/or Argentina (depending on availability). Cattle from these countries are predominantly grass fed.
Directions
Stir 15grams into 250ml of your choice of milk or into your favourite smoothie or juice. Best shaken.
